The Realist Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Yet another defeat, not a surprise. Ind teams + overseas tours (with at least one Koomar in squad) = guaranteed defeats So thats won 1 and lost 3 so far on this tour and counting...
Sidhoni Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 WTF! Giving away 15 runs in 4 balls to lose the game!
cameron_black Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 top stuff from india as expected. they're really benefiting from the IPL T20 experience.

Can't you give some leeway for inexperienced bowlers? Shami-Ahmad is too inexperienced in this format and as far I gathered he gave 10 runs in his 1st over and when he was bowling the 14th over, a crucial one and match seemed to be in India's bag, he gave away 21 runs. He is still learning. And we don't need to spoil him for T20 or ODIs if he fins it difficult to adjust. He seems a good bowler for the longest format. Still Kumar should have saved it as 15 runs are too much to score in the final over. But remember, even bowlers like Hilfy fail here. Question is why was he given the last over and not given the new ball? Isn't this captain's fault? Kumar is a swing bowler and doesn't seem to be a good death bowler. He took crucial wickets to bring India back in the match. Captaincy was not up to the mark here, I think. And why was Awana not played when he had done so well in this format?

The bowlers may relatively be inexperienced but the batsmen have considerable experience compared to their WI counterparts yet have failed again anad again all tour. What's their excuse especially as all of them have been playing several years in the IPL? Just shows that the so-called talent pool is as shallow as a puddle.
adi B Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 khilao bhai aur khilao koomar, pathan, jadeja jaise bowlers ko... we were all laughing at sami who gave 15 off last over few days ago, forgetting we have worse bowlers than sami, who can give even 25 in last over:facepalm:
vvvslaxman Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Kooomars :hysterical: We should start banning any player with last name kumar.
