I wasn't drawing a direct comparison between Steyn and Ishant. In any case, if Steyn could change I'm sure Ishant can as well. Btw, the highlighted is the real reason of his limited success (and there's no prizes for thinking why he did well in the West Indies on similar slow wickets). The back of the length line works well in sub-continent conditions. In places like England, Australia you need to pitch the ball up - simple as that - and give it the best chance to do something. You may get wickets once in a while bowling back of a length (and may also contain runs as the spell at MCG shows) but it ain't going to help you pick wickets IMO.

see awana's bowling stats in first class cricket u have to rememebr he is getting old bowl here so not much swing and still doing fine one matches were it swung he did swing the ball he actually has better control then yadav...and right now is much better then shami!

u said ur not convinced abt him being succesfull in tests i think he can move hte bowl both ways with pretty good control and pace he will do fine but ya u cant count him as strike bowler if he went to australia he would ve done better then ishant i can promise u that :P

I have seen Shami bowl a bit and his ability to make the ball talk , seam , swing at pace, makes him special, bowlers like him are most successful.How good would it be to have Sreesanth in our team when bowling at his fastest and best like SA , I have seen both Awana and Shami bowl, somehow personally I would look at Shami more for test, AWANA, DINDA, Abu nechim more for shorter version .

Awana is pretty similar to Dammika Prasad , pace, built, action, both bowl similarly and kinda similar bowlers, also can seam and swing a bit, how successful has he been? I would love to be proven wrong, either it is too early, I am not convinced of him in test. Let him get a decent run in ODI'S, he does not have out and out pace, also he is on the shorter side, so he will need a big heart, aggression, has to make the ball talk, Aaron, Ishant, Umesh are FAST and still with their skills finding their feet, I would love to see Suyal, Shami, IN THIS IPL.

Well all I am saying his, he should be given a run in ODI'S, maybe A TOURS, bowlers can be compared as being in a similar mould, similar action, pace, physique, skills as far as seaming, swinging the ball,but certainly if Unadkat, PK, VK, Mithun were ever in the frame for test's , this guy is more qualified then them, Seen some players raise their game when playing for their country, even Ishant wasn't an outstanding talent when he debuted for India,we will wait and see, but with Dhoni , Cheeka at the helm we wont see bowlers but trundlers lol.

the only way they will all get to play together is if dhoni steps down from captaincy in tests at least. he much prefers catching 125k trundles than 145k rockets.

Every time Dhoni has played 4 seamers, he has had to suffer with slow-over rates. And it has been rare when 4 fast bowlers are played. So, I doubt if they will be played together.

I think you should have as varied attack as possible.. Yadav/Aaaron/Awana are all similar kind of bowlers. One dimensional attack may not succeed on a flat track

Author isn't saying they all 4 should play together in a match. He is saying these 4 should form our pace attack as these are potentially the best four fast bowlers in our country right now. Four fast bowlers playing together is a rarity.
