i don't have an opinion on pointing please provide some stats and then i can say. the only reason why i consider sehwag as an ftb is because i have seen how inflated his average is due to drawn games.
Sehwag averages 47 even if you remove the drawn games which is higher than Viv Richards.

What are the averages of some other batsman when the same criteria is applied?

i still consider him as an ftb due to his inflated average on flat tracks.
Dont think Galle was a flat track where he scored 201 out of 329. At MCG. 195 out of 350.

Laughable to even consider Ponting a great. Ponting can't play spin and swing, his average in India borders on pathetic and he got away playing only 1 solitary game in Pakistan. There are good reasons why Ponting will never make a World XI. He is just another "home" cornball bully, just like Mahela, Hayden, Maindad etc.
