King Tendulkar Posted August 8, 2007 Author Posted August 8, 2007 wtf is this thread dude?? I am convinced monty may be reading this site! Before the last test I posted some anti monty posts and subsequently he bowled cr#p! He was mentally disentegrated. Monty loves to be loved. Everyone seems to love him wether english fans or the opposition fans. Give him some stick and he goes in to his shell as was proved by trent bridge. If you are reading this monty I will be there tommorow and will give you HELL you TRAITOR! Or at least until I am beating up by monty loving english/ indian fans or arrested!
Cricketics Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 u should perhapz carry some banner saying "monty Beware, Tendu is playin for India"
Gambit Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 :hysterical: Even when he goes on his retarded 200 mile sprint after taking a wicket, you can't help but smile. His joy is so honest and straight from the heart.
talksport Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Everybody loves Monty Monty gets the biggest cheer in the ground.......from both Indian and English fans,
King Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Monty is a top bloke and I have to confirm you will not see most Indian kids aligning with India when India tours NZ. Majority of the Indian kids born and brought up here in NZ back NZ first then India. That also could be because the Indian community is not as big as it is in UK. Even I have difficulty choosing India or NZ when both lock horns but I take the result a little lightly irrespective. For the record I don't mind seeing India or NZ win.
King Tendulkar Posted August 9, 2007 Author Posted August 9, 2007 No dilema for me. I fail the Tebbit test big time and I am proud of it:D
Ram Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 Dsr , when does the match start ? whats the local time there now ?
King Tendulkar Posted August 9, 2007 Author Posted August 9, 2007 local time is 7.50 am now. It starts at 11am. I will be there at around 10.30am. I am very excited, really embarassing for me to be behaving like this. COME ON INDIA. Hope its not as bad as last time I went to Oval to watch inida. I was at Day 1 last time when india lost the toss. A whole day of Vaughan batting:confused_smile:Please win the toss Skip
Ram Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 Awesome Dsr ! That leaves us with about 3 hours to go ! Wish you some enthralling Indian batting !
King Tendulkar Posted August 9, 2007 Author Posted August 9, 2007 Its a pefect summers day here as well. Should be good, if India win the toss!
Ram Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 Its a pefect summers day here as well. Should be good' date=' if India win the toss![/quote'] I thought someone said first couple of days could be rain affected ?
King Tendulkar Posted August 9, 2007 Author Posted August 9, 2007 I thought someone said first couple of days could be rain affected ? That someone was wrong:D
Ram Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 That someone was wrong:D I was hoping that someonev was right actually, esp with India needing only a draw to win the series.
King Tendulkar Posted August 9, 2007 Author Posted August 9, 2007 I was hoping that someonev was right actually' date=' esp with India needing only a draw to win the series.[/quote'] aaaaaaaaaaaah the negativity lives on. We are going for the win which will take us to 3rd in the rankings right behind england
CC1981 Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 People here should look up the meaning of the word motherland in our languages instead of using a rather imperfect English word like 'motherland'. I can expect this sort of ignorance from others, not from Indians- for Indians atleast should know the meaning of the word janambhoomi. If not in hindi, the word is identical in all Indian languages i know of. Monty is not a traitor-he'd be a traitor if he infact went easy on India. I can understand 1st gen. immigrants having divided loyalties or even 1-2 generation later. But beyond that, it shouldnt exist beyond acknowledging one's cultural backgrounds, thats all.
feverpitch Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 If there is a traitor around, that must be Shashank Manohar. As for a treacherous (ex)-cricketer, that has to be Bedi. He is the one who constantly disses our players in order to get some free publicity, goes out of his way to help our opponents, and opensly wishes that our team lose.
sandtest Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 arrey bhai, Monty is born in England and represents his country England. He is just another English player for us when on field. Just because he is Sikh should not mean we should expect some favor from him. I hope Tendlya hits him left and right in this match.
Rajiv Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 Worst thread all over again, if monty is a traitor..all of us living abroad are traitors then
King Tendulkar Posted August 10, 2007 Author Posted August 10, 2007 My mental disentegration tactics worked. Monty is bowling pies:D It confirms that he does read this forum and probably posts here as well!
Rajiv Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 All I can say now, if he wasn't one yet..after dhonis assault, he might turn into one
