When confronted by reporters this morning, Mallya who is Director, Royal Challengers Sports said that he was not fully aware of what had happened and what Pomersbach was accused of doing. “We regret the incident that has happened and we will co-operate with the relevant authorities,” he said. “We were all at the after party after an awesome win and after that I am not sure what happened. I woke up and saw the news and messages,” he said adding that he hadn’t got the chance to communicate with the cricketer since his arrest. Mallya has said the woman was seeking her 15 minutes of fame. AFP His initial statements on Twitter were as contrite. “One hour ago: I woke up this morning with 100+ messages regarding luke…I still don’t know what went on…” he tweeted. However, within half an hour Mallya’s seemed to have remembered the woman who filed the case against Pomersbach. It may have helped that the woman’s face wasn’t blurred on some news channels while speaking to them. “The girl who is accusing Luke is saying he hit her ‘fiance’…what a load of f****** s***. It is possible that they invited Pomersbach to her room and then he started molesting (groping, as reported in some Australian papers) her (as alleged). Remember, he was under the influence of alcohol, and has more than one case of inappropriate behaviour lodged against him in the past. Not taking any sides, but just saying, it's possible.
