master22 Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 Thunderstorms expected in bangalore on the playoff match day,so csk could be out without playing a ball:giggle:
saneindian Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 albie morkel @albiemorkel "@SPFleming7: Tough watching the RCB chase. Packed and then unpacked and then packed again, emotional roller coaster!" Flem u didn't watch! Must have been tough on the players!
Prakat Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 We will see who lols at the end:hehe: dude, lol all you want in the end. Fact is, you got into the playoffs because of a statistical near-impossibility like DC beating RCB. So your dear CSK is basically a freak entry. lol (in the end too) lol.
Zap_Brannigan Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 Its always nice to see the faces of people who were hoping we would make it, esp. if its the ITV bimbo

If CSK had been scheduled to play Kings 11 today instead of last week, CSK would have been into the playoffs even before taking the field for the last game. Its not luck, its the scheduling.
Prakat Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 Bambi fan' date='ur team is the least deserving of the teams to get into the playoffs, how many last ball finishes, umpire mistakes went ur way?[/quote'] dude last ball finishes are exciting to watch and they mean a good fight to the end was WON by us. That is, not choked, not gave up, not hit by nerves, not psyched out. These are good things. Watch a close football match and see if how they celebrate the win! How many matches did you dominate to even bad-mouth close finishes? Umpire mistakes went against us too, plenty. You are just one of the many jealous anti-fans of bombay. :hehe:

It was dependent on RCB losing and DC winning this match.

It was dependent on RCB losing and DC winning this match. Let me schedule it. The CSK Vs pune, that we lost, today. If RCB had won today, would that mean that they had to rely on us losing to Pune, the worst team in the IPL , to enter the playoffs? Unless you get a lot of wins, you have to "rely" on other teams losing too. If Chargers and Pune had not won a single game, Mumbai too, would have had to win a lot more to enter playoffs.
asterix Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 That 'supposed to wash out but not' game between MI & RCB at Bengaluru came back to bite RCB.. Should've been a washout..

beetle Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 Nitin Sundar @knittins Delhi people are confused. Madrasi team beat another Madrasi team, to help a third Madrasi team qualify. "Abeyaar!"

Dude the schedule is a part of reality. it's not something you get to rearrange to suit your emotional needs. :hehe: So things happen in an order and you scale your performance based on what is the need of the hour. Everybody takes the first few matches easy, long way to go, towards the end, when all the angles can be observed, then you have a couple of matches to close and you go out and give it your all. Intensity is defined by the schedule. So in the end if you come a cropper it's on you, not the schedule.
Zelig Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 Anyway, both CSK & bambis will not win the trophy this year. I can't see either of 'em winning three on the trot. :agree:
