Cricketics Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Gambhir for his brilliatn captaincy, batting and the way he has handled his bowler especially Narine. Even today, he used Narine perfectly. 1 over he bowled before 8 overs. 1 he bowled around 18th and than the last over. and top of it, excellent leadership. Even if KKR lose the finals, he should be given the Player of the tournament.

No other player has caused this much talk among the oposition as him.....& its him vs oposition batsman which has been touted so much every time KKR are playing. But he needs to get it just because he made the best of Indian batsman including Sachin look at sea....(plus the higly anticipated Sehwag vs Narine is still due)
Executioner Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 narine and GG, these 2 single where the only reasons KKR got into the playoffs. They were consistant, effective. But I think Narine will get the nod because he has changed the entire chemistry. At times abdullah and sakib werent played so all the onus was on him as the lone spinner. When lee and kallis werent bowling well he stepped up and change the gme for him
