Ultimate_Game Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Don't take him seriously lol he is sarcastic i believe.. because he hypes most of the random guys to himalayaln level. :cantstop: Well you never know. I've seen ppl cry about match fixing in IPL :omg: If ppl take it so seriously I am sure some of them may actually take IPL games more seriously than the intl or even the WC games.

His Rohit sharma thread is a hilarious thread lol
achilles Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 M Vijay again proves that he's a weak player who can play just 1 good inning a year that too, at home.
achilles Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 His highest for India is 33 in ODIs in 20 odd games. :phehehe: But good innings today. :nice: nice tits. He is 21st century avatar of VVS Laxman' date=' same Hyderabadi elegance and class. His strokeplay reminds me of Mark Waugh, his presence on field sends shivers down bolwers spine. Very unfortunate player though, ignored by selectors.[/quote'] :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Paisa Vasool thread

achilles Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 He had 2 good seaons that's it. But for CSk he is an invaluable asset. Delivered two good performances in 2 crunch games. His previous 100 came on a patta that had nothing for the bowlers. His performance last night was a lot to do with the absence of Morkel and the opening by Gupta (like seriously, wth). I hope he doesn't make it to the WT20 on the back of this performance. Unlike him, Rahane has played well throughout the season.

vvvslaxman Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Good on you to cherry pick ONE thing in the entire post to respond about. Becuase there was only one match between Morkel vs Vijay at chennai happened. :cantstop: . Atleast i have one sample.

GautiMaan Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Rahane and maybe even Dhawan should be tried before even thinking of giving vijay another chance. But plz give credit where it is due, yesterdays innings was phenomenal

He played well. The point I'm raising is, if he is not consistent, what is the point? He has like one good game a season. Dhawan and Rahane on the other hand worked very very hard to score the big runs eveytime they walked out.

He should mainly focus on test batting. He used to be such a boring and slow batsman in Ranji. Usually he would take like 200 balls to score 40 odd runs. Very good temperament he had. He kinda lost it once he started playing these heave ho shots over midwicket in T20. He definitely has a future as a test playe.

Taking him in the ODI or T20I squads is a recipe for disaster, as he has convincingly proven on a repeated basis.
Sidhoni Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Naman Ojha has the privilege of watching Vijay's IPL 100s at close quarters, while keeping wkts for RR and DD.
