Lord Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 all go into pot next year (every two years BCCI hits reset button:doh:) even Gayle n Narine?:woot:
jairamesh Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 even Gayle n Narine?:woot: everyone, fullstop. unless of course they are retained, last time 4 players were allowed to be retained.
MCcricket Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 I think this is bullshit, should'nt be a mandatory auction among players contracted, kills the fans who support for a player next year he will play for some other team.IPL should be a bit more like the soccer teams, player transfers, purchase, loan.
superstar Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 I doubt everyone are going to the Pot. Most of the teams other than PWI and DC have settled teams. Ratings will also be take care of . Most likely they will allow teams to retain 8-10 players so the core remains the same.
Ultimate_Game Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 all go into pot next year (every two years BCCI hits reset button:doh:) Not a good way to build brand loyalty. I suspect that at some point IPL will change the rule about putting the players back in the pot. Just imagine the no. of CSK fans who will root for a franchise which manages to get Dhoni in the next auction.

MCcricket Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Bring back KTK or the 10 th team, hopefully after auction the teams are more balanced.
superstar Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Bring back KTK or the 10 th team' date=' hopefully after auction the teams are more balanced.[/quote'] There is a lot of talk of a Gujju based team.
Executioner Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 The guy is good. Srsly, the way he played, he won the match by KKR, no matter how much we talk about kallis, sakib, tiwary, and so on, it was this guy who gave KKR such a good chance to win the match. This innings is more special than that of any other local.
bulbul Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 as per CI guy doesnt even have Ranji team...only thing this may have helped is increase his base price if he wants go to auction.. but we all know how players who performed well in few matches played in next editions after getting huge money :hmmm:
Crookbond Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Can we pls hyping up players after one good performance in a T20 domestic tourney? 2 days ago someone was asking for Vijay to be in the Indian team' date= last year ppl wanted Valthaty to be in the Indian team. Can we stop giving in to such knee jerk reactions? Let Bisla perform consistently in domestic cricket and if he does well over tme he will get his chance. At the moment guys like Rohit, Rahane, Pujara, Mukund and even Manoj Tiwary are miles ahead of him. IPL effect! :hysterical:
Crookbond Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 First, NO way into the Indian te am as yet. Next, As per T20 good consistent performance in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Next, Consistent performance in IPL6. Finally, we can put him on the Indian T20 team roster.
Needforspeed Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 The question is what does Bisla hold for Team India's future? Only time will tell, whether he becomes another one match/ one season wonder like Valthaty or Rayudu or he is the real deal. This one innings would probably help him with a better auction price now that domestic players are also going to be auctioned.
Needforspeed Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 There is a lot of talk of a Gujju based team. For all you know, it may be the same promoters with a Gujju team. The owners of the KTK team were Gujjus.
skindia Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 t20 is based on luck...it again proved..sometimes player fails sometimes gets success even if u dont have talent.
mhr123 Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Bisla is way better than Papu pager , DK and Saha... he has played some decent inngs in the past... he should get a chance... Even MSD didn't had an outstanding Ranji carrier.
Vilander Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 First, NO way into the Indian te am as yet. Next, As per T20 good consistent performance in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Next, Consistent performance in IPL6. Finally, we can put him on the Indian T20 team roster. Thats the key, who will he replace ? the funny angle is he is not much younger than Dhoni but younger enough. Is he older than Saha i wonder. How is his wicket keeping? probably ODI keeper when Dhoni rests.
Executioner Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 t20 is based on luck...it again proved..sometimes player fails sometimes gets success even if u dont have talent. The guy has talent. The way we played his shots showed that he had a lot to offer. And not to mention, he didnt do any blind sloggin like the cowlasher.
