Huh!? :shout: Sold Ross Taylor Shane Warne (retired) Kevin Pietersen Pragyan Ojha Ishant Sharma (injured) Replacement None These two teams are happy to be there, that's all. Hope so...
I am actually happy to have boring teams like DC, Rajastan and Kings 11. They are the ideal ground where domestic players can flourish. They should be made to play only 4 o clock games though.

The signing of Jadeja has been baffling. You would have thought that by signing Jadeja they did not need to play Jakati as Jadeja's bowling is surely as good as Jakati's. What CSK may have to do next season is buy a better foreign bowler if they can and only play 1 of Bravo/Morkel. Their batting line-up is powerful enough to cope with just one of them and more often than not, 1 of them is not required while batting.

I think they should play both Hilfenhaus and Bollinger next year. There's no shortage of batsmen in India, what India lacks is quality pace bowlers so they could replace Hussey/Faf although they've both done a great job. Buying Murali back would be a waste since he has stated that the next IPL would be his last.

We went to the finals and played a great game' date='[/quote'] keep dreaming. they performed more than upto potential. this team over performed with lots of luck and still could not win. this is just not a sensible approach. which sensible approach relies on other others having weak links as well.? that a ranji class player was able to play a matchwinning knock says it all. this team was highly unlikely to win with this bowling in the first place.it was a question of when it will be exposed. it is only comedy of errors that it took so long to be exposed. bowling needs a huge change.

Hilfy is a damn good new ball bowler , but an average death bowler. In previous IPLs we use to give too many runs in first 6 overs and so he is necessary. We need another death bowler preferably some indian one

We need a good Indian fast bowler. If we cannot find someone, we should play Tyagi. We have had Balaji, Tyagi, Goni in the past but we had Yomi this time who underperformed.

csk shud search for someone like sakib or Johan botha. In CSK pitches albie morkel will be crap, a spinner and players who play spin well as i mention earlier shud suit CSK more

I think performance of Bravo is giving a selection headache for CSK. Honestly we dont have any tail and we shld bring in some death bowling specialist.

CSK missed Bollinger bigtime, he's more effective than Hilfenhaus in the final overs and being a left arm bowler, I think he would have made it harder for Kallis and Bisla. Unfortunately for some reason he went back to Australia during the league phase. Imagine if Bollinger and Hilf bowled the first 6 overs or so in tandem rather than Morkel, in the final. For the next season they should play both Bollinger and Hilf (if available) and drop either Bravo, Morkel or Hussey/Du Plessis. They have enough batting to drop one of the all rounders, if they drop Hussey/Faf they could try out Aniruddha, Mukund or Badri with Vijay. In the final they lacked a bowler who could bowl a tight over or two, everyone was taken apart. Ashwin is not the bowler he was in 2010 and '11. The reason they must play both Bollinger and Hilfenhaus is that it's much easier to find a replacement for one of the batsmen than it is to find a good Indian fast bowler since there's no such thing as a good Indian fast bowler lol.
