AbhishekS Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 I don't think MI were unlucky to miss Johnson. Dwayne Smith was roped in as the replacement and he performed really well. Even won a crucial game for MI out of nowhere scoring 14 off the last 3 overs. So I feel that it was rather a blessing in disguise for MI.

Johnson + Malinga in the death is going to be hard to deal with. DC were missing Ishant. No idea what the year holds for him, but if he hits good form then Steyn + Ishant could potentially push DC up a few places. DD will be hoping Pietersen sticks around for longer. Pietersen and Warner in the same side is pretty intimidating for any opponent. Good call :hatsoff:
