Raghav_12 Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 With the person's consent. That is the key. As for "controversies", his popularity seems to have only grown with these manufactured controversies. The best strategy for the BJP/Modi is to simply ignore this non-issue which is manufactured only with the intent slinging mud on Modi and the girl. For example, Modi has hardly spoken about the riots for several years now, and it has hardly hurt him. This may absolve him only from the charges of stalking, not from the charges of "misuse of govt machinery for personal purposes". You don't employ police for such petty things. If there was threat to life of that lady or lady had to be tracked for some anti-social or anti-state activities, than that should have been done through proper channels.
bulbul Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Misusing the state machinary is a big deal now :phehehe:
The Outsider Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 The lady was a threat to the state? Is that the latest theory floating in the chaddhi camp?:hysterical:

What terrorism threat was there to use the entire state machinery including the ATS?

And it is not necessary for her to have given anything in writing - that is only necessary if an FIR is registered. What is the proof that the entire state machinery was used for this purpose ? There is no evidence that more than half a dozen policemen were involved in it.

bulbul Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Whether the Bharatiya Janata Party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will have an impact on the Delhi assembly election results may be hard to tell for sure, but there’s little doubt that Mr. Modi has energised the faction-ridden state party unit. Even before Delhiites were officially introduced to Mr. Modi on September 29 at his first rally in the city, party workers had declared that there was a “Modi wave†in the Capital, which would propel them past the finish line in the upcoming Delhi polls. The party that until less than a month ago had chief ministerial candidate hopeful Vijay Goel’s posters plastered across the city has since banked on the BJP’s ‘poster boy’ – literally putting Mr. Modi on posters and billboards alongside CM candidate Harsh Vardhan – in a bid to cash in on votes and topple the 15-year rule of the Sheila Dikshit led Congress government. He is on billboards across the city pointing at the rise in prices of vegetables and “skyrocketing†power tariffs http://www.thehindu.com/news/cities/Delhi/in-delhi-modi-is-a-uniting-influence/article5382968.ece :hatsoff: :hatsoff:

bulbul Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Bharatiya Janata Party Prime Ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is in the spotlight again with a chair he sat on last week while addressing a rally in Agra. Reports suggest that local BJP leaders from Agra are now engaged in a bidding war in order to purchase the chair. On Tuesday, the bidding war reached a whopping Rs 2 lakh. A resident of Agra has also offered to pay Rs 50,000 to own the chair. However, the chair belongs to a contractor who put up the tent for the rally and is refusing to sell it. "BJP MLAs have been calling me up and asking to buy the chair. I also received a call from a businessman who is associated with the party and is offering Rs 2 lakh, but I'm not selling this chair," said the contractor, Pramod Upadhyay. http://ibnlive.in.com/news/agra-contractor-refuses-to-sell-the-chair-that-narendra-modi-sat-on/436352-3-242.html :hatsoff::hatsoff::hatsoff::hatsoff::hatsoff:

Time magazine doesnt pick person of the year for their character.. its pick is based on "for better or for worse, ...who has done the most to influence the events of the year." ps: stop comparing our dear leader to Hitler... Time will tell if he will turn out to be another Hitler or just another PM in the annals of Indian history :--D

Yoda-esque Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 :headshake: So much negativity of a person who has been ruling a state efficiently for the past 3 terms. Agree. At least give the man a chance. Surely he can't fare any more worse than the Congress?
Mariyam Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 @manoj_veli and diga I'm not comparing ' (y)our great leader' to Hitler. Wether he turns out to be a visionary head of state or just another leader of the opposition is anyone's guess. I merely pointed out that the TIME magazine person of the year nomination should be taken with a pinch of salt. What TIME magazine thinks of Modi is irrelevant in the larger scheme of things. What matters is what the people of India about him. And that we will find out in 2014.
