ganeshran Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Modi is a Vegetarian. Definitely a communal person. He is not considering the sentiments of minorities. He needs to start eating lamb and mutton and cows. How come congress didn't think of this point ? He doesn't have to become a non-vegetarian but not banning cow slaughter and allowing minorities to continue eating beef would be a good start.
ravishingravi Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 He doesn't have to become a non-vegetarian but not banning cow slaughter and allowing minorities to continue eating beef would be a good start. So he said he will not allow minorities to eat beef.

ravishingravi Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Well now that 3 days are gone since d day. It is paradigm shift. It is as MTV called it, one tight slap to the worn out liberal pseudo secular point. It is not a helpless verdict. It is bold, clear and confident verdict of aspirational country. It is a message. For some 340 slaps might not be enough. But I think they have dented the status quo.
ravishingravi Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Modi has never lost an election. Chew on that. Amit Shah too
someone Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I still cannot fully believe the results. This man as it seems has to constantly defiant all odds. In each elections he faced whether it being the Gujarat elections or this LS, he always faced the harshest of environment where he got a lot of abuses from opposition and absolutely negative media narrative presented about him. And yet, he emerged victorious. Clearly, it shows that he understands the people better and actually knows what they care for and their wants. Reading some of the old articles, we can clearly see a lot of struggles and barriers in his path each time. Like sample these articles particular the first article, Don't worry, Modi is 'just' about to be nabbed Praise Narendra Modi & you become India's Most Wanted Congress-Media Complex suffers Modi Schizophrenia ? Modi and Muslims: A discourse destroyed by Modi phobia Desperate Nitish's secular bunkum and Hitler punch Messing up Modi's comments: The Great Indian Dishonesty The shallow secularism of Nitish Kumar is a farce Today, these articles are all golden and serve as great evidence to how tough and unfair the journey of Modi was made by certain entities. Modi before his being PM-candidate, " they" hated for 2002 but since then, "they" hate him for everything.

The paranoid fiberals will only intensify there attacks this time with heavy volunteering from international media, we have already seen some bullsh!t from Guardian UK and Economist in recent weeks. But fortunately Modi will is strong enough to ignore this nonsense and continue with his work, and this time there is social media to call out any bullsh!t.
Number Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Is this the first time that BJP's rural vote bank massively increased and even illiterates voted for them ? Upper class elitist liberals and rurals always voted for Congress. Urban middle class and Brahmins/Baniyas/Rajputs in the heartland's rural areas voted for BJP. From exit poll reports it came that upward mobile Dalits are much more inclined towards BJP than any other party including BSP. This is a good sign for BJP. India's middle class will grow at a great pace in the coming years. Unless BJP totally screws it up like Congress, it is set to rule India for at least a decade now.

To be fair, I won't blame the foreign media. They only reflect what Indian mainstream media tells about Modi. And our media had always created some BS and never presented a fair & balanced view of Modi. Also, as I said in the post above, for the haters today, they hate him on everything. Thus, there really is no solution to end that hatred. But again, Modi doesn't need to worry about that, he should just ignore that nonsense and focus on doing his work like you wrote.

Muloghonto Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 No talks with pak unless and until they dismantle their house of horrors. How you cannot leverage this argument at the global diplomatic level is beyond me. What is our offer to pak for dismantling their house of horrors ? Like, have we put together a carrot package we can dangle as incentive ? Sent from my GT-S5830D using Tapatalk 2

Corruption, economic plan, foreign policy...all facyor in. plenty of anti bjp ppl voted bjp this cycle coz of anti-dynasty semtiments and very poor corruption record of congress over last 2 governments. Its more a triumph of bjps no bs business approach, giving them a chance to b less corrupt and anti dynasty srntiments winning despite fears of bjps fascistic religious tendencies.
