Not that I want Eng to win but I'm a bigger fan of competitive cricket. Australia would have gone at India like mad cows today, possibly setting up the game for a great finish. Do you guys see any hope for some nail biting tomorrow?

to win on last day eng needs to score at 5 per over. Even aussies cant score at that rate in first innings forget second innings. If game ends in a draw well i dont care if england had a moral win we won the test series and thats the bottom line.

I was letting off steam - was really annoyed that the team thinktank were so defensive. And, I had just driven 50 miles and seen an incoherent attack that could not score a goal. However, I am sure RD will sound the same tomorrow!!

England won't win and whilst nobody needs stats in support, the highest successful 4th inninngs chase at the oval has been and I think the record is around 418. The pitch has plenty in it for batsmen...but not that much... That said England willl hopefully think that they should go for it with Vaughan's pride at stake. In the process they'll probably roll over.
