living
Not that I want Eng to win but I'm a bigger fan of competitive cricket. Australia would have gone at India like mad cows today, possibly setting up the game for a great finish. Do you guys see any hope for some nail biting tomorrow? Link to comment
Ram
Oh ! , so the sun rises in the west sometimes ? Link to comment
Cricketics
no hope,, they suck.. they are overated.. if it endz in a draw then score of eng would be around 380-7 or something.. if not draw, then watch out for Indipendence day celbration of Indian team in england Link to comment
Mandrake
No chance in hell....though a draw here would be nothing less than a defeat from India's perspective. Link to comment
Gaurav
If Eng win then I will polish my Eng ka passport and do path pooja for Queenji :haha: Link to comment
theguyinallblue
if they can bat for 90 overs..without losing 10 wickets..on a 5th day pitch,...then they will definitely deserve a credit for saving the match.. BUT THEY WILL NEVER WIN THIS MATCH. Link to comment
SightForTheGods
No....they game has a high probability to end on a draw Link to comment
Gambit
No chance. Scoring 450 on the last day is no joke and it certainly will not be done. Link to comment
observer1
a moral win will be claimed by the likes of hussain and atherton. dravid will surely, in the post-match interview, sing his praises of how well the english team batted, and how undeserving india were to win at trent bridge. he will say that india came here to play competitive cricket and aspire to reach the levels of the english team, and that india is making progress towards that Link to comment
jf1gp_1
to win on last day eng needs to score at 5 per over. Even aussies cant score at that rate in first innings forget second innings. If game ends in a draw well i dont care if england had a moral win we won the test series and thats the bottom line. Link to comment

Predator_05
Impossible. ...however Draw-vid has quite literally, thrown England a lifeline and they now have a fair chance of drawing this match. Link to comment
observer1
I was letting off steam - was really annoyed that the team thinktank were so defensive. And, I had just driven 50 miles and seen an incoherent attack that could not score a goal. However, I am sure RD will sound the same tomorrow!! Link to comment
Anakin
They can do whatever they like with the moral victory:regular_smile: Link to comment
Hawkeye
England won't win and whilst nobody needs stats in support, the highest successful 4th inninngs chase at the oval has been and I think the record is around 418. The pitch has plenty in it for batsmen...but not that much... That said England willl hopefully think that they should go for it with Vaughan's pride at stake. In the process they'll probably roll over. Link to comment
Dhondy
India's only realistic chance of victory in this match depends on England going for it. The seamers are due for an off day, and looking at Kumble today, I just can't see him pulling it off all on his own. Gator 2- Dhondy 0. Link to comment
observer1
if yo were to read cricinfo, you might believe that england would be unfortunate if they lose 2 wickets by the time they make 500! Link to comment
The Outsider
It's baffling why Kumble bowls round the stumps when never in his career has he appeared a threat from that angle. The strategy already cost us a win at Cape Town and might cost us tomorrow as well. Link to comment
