Swing_n_Speed Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 As for Kriplani and Manekshaw, tell me one particular community that can't name individuals who have made notable contributions to the nation? Come into my neck of the woods...Goa. We hold the state record for uselessness :haha::hysterical:
Prakat Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Well i'm just stating some differences between the two communities. Mentioning a fact or two does not mean it was right or wrong in my opinion. Same as above, i'm not stating xyz is better than others and so on. Its always good to see minorities play a crucial role in our society since the early years, no ? Sort of a feel good mention in these tough economic times :winky: Well they're tightly knit & almost closed as a community, i wouldn't doubt their loyalty or their integration into society. I don't know about the gimme tactics, does BPP receive govt grants ? Sindhis in comparison are far too many to run this sort of housing plan and there's smaller things like reservation in colleges run by them for instance. Besides, the primary complain i have from one of these communities (that yours truly belongs to, take a guess) is tax evasion. This headline seems trivial in comparison. It's the closed community which is the problem. Why encourage it? I know the older generation shakes its head :headshake: sadly whenever a parsi girl marries outside the community and same for parsi boys. The falling numbers is forcing and sometimes giving rise to a sense of duty among young parsis to marry within the community. That attitude has to change from within. My fiancee is from your community and she is the most loving, caring, generous and beautiful human being I've ever met. :icflove:
Prakat Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Parsi boys :potstir: Jab tu yahan aayegi I will introduce you to some nice Parsi boys.

Cricketics Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Have some Zorashtrian friends here in States. Most of them seem to be calm, down to earth. Always nice to have their company. Zorashtrian is pretty much Parsis.

gaurav92 Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Sindhis are pure Biznessman, they only believe in minding their own bizness, and are kind too. But they are not as well behaved as parsis IMO.
Aaku Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Jab main apni Ferrari mein ghoomungi, tab sab hassna :driver:
