jairamesh Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 NDTV and timesofindia, two very credible sources of news. :headshake: I will wait on this coming from someone with more authenticity.
SLICKR392 Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 hope he gets banned then migrates to India...gets citizenship and gets in our team And the best part is then Kohli would be on his side.
achilles Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 This could turn into the next Chris Gayle vs cricket board. Its got potential :D
Executioner Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 And the best part is then Kohli would be on his side. that wud be bad for kohli, if he plays too much of malinga in the nets he will forget how to play other bowlers, considerinh how much he likes playing malinga. I do not want that. :sniffle::sniffle: Kohli should take him on only during the intl matches.
Roshanrocks Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Dont worry guys, Ambani will send a donation to SL cricket board

bulbul Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 This could turn into the next Chris Gayle vs cricket board. Its got potential :D it wont..Carribean govts are with Gayle ..here Govt is ganist Malinga
rkt.india Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Malinga cant play two tests in a sow and they want him to ban because he retired from tests.
Viki_J Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Lasith Malinga will not be banned says SLC president The speculation surrounding a possible ban on Lasith Malinga has been put to rest as Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced that there is no such move. Earlier, there were murmurs that Malinga may be banned from the Sri Lankan team for not signing a contract with the board. Follow the news stories below : Sri Lanka Cricket has not even thought of banning any player SLC says no ban on Malinga ! :two_thumbs_up::two_thumbs_up::two_thumbs_up::two_thumbs_up:
achilles Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 it wont..Carribean govts are with Gayle ..here Govt is ganist Malinga Yes. Thanfully Sri Lanka seems to have a head. Malinga iwll not be banned, it says.
The Outsider Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Indeed. No one can argue with his decision to retire from Test cricket. One Test match and 6 months injured is not worth more than several ODIs and T20s in that period of time - whatever dogmatic purists would otherwise think! Don't think the importance of Tests versus other formats should even be relevant here. It's a fact that Malinga cannot bowl the long spells required in Tests without getting injured and it will be nothing short of cruel to make him do so.
M N Saleem Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 It would be tough decision to ban Malinga, however, cricket world is big enough to entertain talented performers.
Square Drive Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 So it's false news then.. and there goes my hopes. :wall:
jairamesh Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 go figure, laughable news from laughable news channel in the first place.
