I recently had some relatives from India and they told me Blackberry is still the most popular phone. Everyone is on BBM all the time.
not exactly. Blackberry is popular but from what I've seen recently, Samsung is the most popular brand by a mile.

Not so sure about that Rajiv. I would concede your point about cars etc but iPhone/iPad are as much a fad in US too. Maybe even more so. Look around you and see how many girls, in particular, dont have an iPhone? Is it because it is absolutely vital? No. Is it because it is a great gadget? Partially true. Is it because it is something if you arent seen with, you dont belong to the hep crowd? Hell yeah!

It happens with everything in life. Compromises are always there. This too has some like no micro sim, nonuser replaceable battery, less battery than other Samsung high end androids. I am currently using Wave which I bought because of its classy metallic build. I always like good build and design. Wave's battery is not much better than this. Regarding memory, I dont store too many things in phone. I only use 8 GB card in Wave 2. HTC One S too has classy metallic build. Camera will work even if it is as good as Wave, looks better though. baaki to use karne ke baad hi pata chalega. aur fir Nida Fazli ki ye lines yaad aa jati hain. kabhi kisi ko mukammal jahaan nahi milta kahin zami to kahin aasmaa nahi milta jise bhi dekhiye vo apne aap mein gum hai zubaa mili hai magar humzubaa nahi milta bujhaa saka hai bhala kaun vaqt ke shole ye aisi aag hai jisme dhuaa nahi milta tere jahaaN mein aisa nahi ki pyaar na ho jahaa ummeed ho iski vahaaN nahi milta.

Apple iPhone 3GS available for Rs. 9,999 Aircel has slashed the price of Apple iPhone 3GS 8GB model and the same is now available for Rs. 9,999. This deal is for now available only for post-paid customers. Aircel and Airtel are the two partners that are offering Apple iPhone 3GS in India. Airtel so far has not announced any reduction in price of iPhone 3GS and is selling the same for Rs. 20,908, which is more than double the price of Aircel's version. To further sweeten the deal, Aircel is also offering unlimited 3G data for a full one year with the purchase of iPhone 3GS by paying an additional Rs. 3,000 upfront at the time of purchase. However, this option is available only in the circles where Aircel is offering 3G and there is a fair usage cap of 2GB per month, post which users can continue to download unlimited data at the speed of 128kbps. For the circles in which 3G is not available subscribers will be able to get unlimited 2G data (with the fair usage cap of 2GB), 1000 local/national minutes and 2500 local/national SMS for six months on payment of Rs. 3,000. However, if an Aircel subscribers opts for the company's 'money saver plan,' then they would have to pay Rs.20,990 for this very iPhone. http://gadgets.ndtv.com/mobiles/news/apple-iphone-3gs-available-for-rs-9999-245716 _______________________________________________________________________ Ye kya chakkar hai Aircel bech rahi 10,000 me to Airtel 20,000 me. Airtel ko bhi kam karna padega. Chuhe ka kutra hua Apple bhi khana kitna mushkil ho gaya hai aajkal.
