deathmonger Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 people' date=' why do bangladesh have 0 ranking points ?[/quote'] because they can't give negative points
deathmonger Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 on the other hand if we win 4-1 or 5-0 in SL we'll be no 1 odi team.
Guest Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 people' date=' why do bangladesh have 0 ranking points ?[/quote'] Computer not programmed to display negetive points.. so 0 it is
saneindian Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 4-5-6 is where we are going to remain for the next few years as we enter the transition phase in test cricket..
goggi Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 Perfect tonic after the loss in SL when someone said now we are the 3rd best team in sub cont. :giggle: Guilty! mentioned it just two days ago,:hysterical: What's the saying: "Life has a tendency to come back and bite you in the butt".

Trichromatic Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 by Nov we will become new N0 1 England 1-0 or 1-1 SA Ind 2-0 NZ Ind 4-0 England but if SA win by 2-1 or 2-0 against England they will be No 1... :omg: When was the last time we won three consecutive test matches?
saneindian Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 by Nov we will become new N0 1 England 1-0 or 1-1 SA Ind 2-0 NZ Ind 4-0 England but if SA win by 2-1 or 2-0 against England they will be No 1... A series loss to NZ could see us tumbling to number 7 or 8! And remember we did nearly lose our last series to NZ in India.
daryl1985 Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 Some of the things I expect to read on both sites in next 24 hours. We are better then India Sachin is not a match winner. IPL is to blame for India sliding down. Pakis have never won in WI. Ajmal chucks. India are FTBs. Ranking are the best things since sliced bread. Rankings suck, no one understands them. India have a better fast bowling attack and have more pacers capable of hitting 145-150 kph. Yadav, Aaron and Ishant are faster than any of the Pakistan bowlers (India fans view). Our pace attack is at its weakest in history but it is still better than India's (Pakistan fans view)
asterix Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 Just wait..The slide will continue.. Home series loss against England is on the cards..
Hell Raiser Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 :WTF: Only beating Eng has taken them ahead of us.
Trichromatic Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 :WTF: Only beating Eng has taken them ahead of us. Not exactly.
Hell Raiser Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 Not exactly. Of course there are other factors as well but only beating Eng has helped them immensely. England were number 1 and Pak was probably at 6 or 5. Thats why Pak got more points for beating a top ranked side. Otherwise they haven't beaten any top side apart from Eng to gather points.

Doesn't help take 20 wickets as such on its own. Test wickets are much much harder to get than that.
Guest Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 :WTF: Only beating Eng has taken them ahead of us. same way OZ gone down..they lost 1-2 to England in Ashes series and lost 12 points from there now way back

They were 5th or 6th when result before 2009 was taken into account. If those results were removed even before England series in UAE they might have already been ahead of us.
