Trichromatic Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 lol, how does Malik manage to keep playing for Pakistan?
Cricket Tragic Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Squad for ODIs against Australia Misbah-ul-Haq (capt), Nasir Jamshed, Mohammad Hafeez, Azhar Ali, Asad Shafiq, Umar Akmal, Kamran Akmal (wk), Shahid Afridi, Sohail Tanvir, Aizaz Cheema, Saeed Ajmal, Imran Farhat, Shoaib Malik, Abdur Rehman, Junaid Khan, Anwar Ali In: Anwar Ali, Nasir Jamshed, Kamran Akmal, Shoaib Malik, Junaid Khan Out: Mohammad Sami, Rahat Ali, Sarfraz Ahmed, Younis Khan, Umar Gul Good that they got rid of Sami. The ODI series in SL showed his inconsistency again. YK hasn't been in good ODI form for ages. I think he made his last ton 4 years back. Dropmal and Mirza
Ultimate_Game Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 So after Kenya, Ireland, Scotland, PNG an Zim Sir John is opening Pak threads now :haha:
carnish Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 lol' date=' how does Malik manage to keep playing for Pakistan?[/quote'] Was wondering the same thing?? Aint he India's Daamat now??
Trichromatic Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Aint he India's Daamat now?? No wonder his most of the top scores are against India only. :winky:
Sam_AJ Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 This should be an interesting contest, Australia aren't as good anymore and Pakistan seem to have brought back some of their batters who can score more quickly... should be a good series, would edge it in favor of Pakistan considering it is being played in the UAE.

Like the ODI series vs Ingerland?
carnish Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 No wonder his most of the top scores are against India only. :winky: But that was before his marriage to Sania Mirza .. I guess now he plays for delhi clubs secreatly hoping to get a chance in the Indian side

Ultimate_Game Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 All phaasst bowlers out. Who was Rahat Ali? Another great meat eating "phaaast" bowler who couldn't quite cut it?
rkt.india Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Who was Rahat Ali? Another great meat eating "phaaast" bowler who couldn't quite cut it? He is their future left armer Showape Actor. He looked decent though, dont know they select and play new bowlers every other series. Cheema was dropped, now is suddenly back again, and Gulla is dropped. Cheema was dropped, now is suddenly back again, and Gulla is dropped. These clips don't mean much. Remember Pakis were touting a 6'8" bowler some time back and said he could bowl fast blah blah blah. And when he showed up he wasn't up to intl stanard and only good at picking wkts against low quality batsmen.

He looks a decent prospect, not as quick as they are saying but still decent.
Sir_Afridi Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Lower tier matches. Both are ranked above India in real cricket.
deathmonger Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Both are ranked above India in real cricket. he's back. and the series is not real cricket. it's t20 and odi where india is ranked above both paki and aus. :hysterical:
Ultimate_Game Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Both are ranked above India in real cricket. Funny the definition of "real cricket" changes depending on India's ranking in the format :giggle: I distinctly recall Pakis saying Tests is gone and odis is the real thing when India were ranked #1 in Tests. But once India kicked Paki @$$ and won the World Cup suddenly Tests is the "real" cricket for Pakis :hysterical: Isn't it ironical folks who idolise Afridi and call him a "legend" are the ones saying Tests is the "real" cricket - the same format the legend doesn't have the temperament for :cantstop:
Vilander Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 ^ It depends from where you are. The southern part of India tremble in the the Northern winters. :cantstop: you must be from north.. i have plenty of hairy southern friends who enjoy the european winters..
