SLICKR392 Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Before people start arguing his comparison with Tendu read the OT carefully.
CSK Fan Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 I feel this guy hOoks well, cuts well ......sehwag does not Hook well Gambho is gOod but Kohli is a better stroke player.... This guy ws our best batsman in australia and even before and Malinga who terrorises all batters is scared of kohli..... I think as on Today Kohli is better than Sachin and sehwag and hence is India"s best in ODI tests and T20 Mods, this is clearly against my religious sentiments. I thought religious discussions were not allowed?
Khalpat Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Mods' date=' this is clearly against my religious sentiments. I thought religious discussions were not allowed?[/quote'] Exactly that is the same reason I never opened thread like, who is better Jesus or Sachin, Sachin Vs Lord Shiva, Comparison of Sachin and Gautam Buddha etc.
bablankalhan Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Virat Kohli has started well in International Cricket...but he did not perform in Australian VB Series except for 183*....remember Steve Harmison was also number uno bowler in the World...where is he now ?? hope Kohli does not go Harmison way
ganeshran Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Mods' date=' this is clearly against my religious sentiments. I thought religious discussions were not allowed?[/quote'] :haha::haha:
Sachin=GOD Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Mods' date=' this is clearly against my religious sentiments. I thought religious discussions were not allowed?[/quote'] thread lock kari jaaye :orderorder: Mods haaye haaye :protest: :protest:
Number Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 might be the best in the world on the basis of current form.
vishalvirsingh Posted August 8, 2012 Author Posted August 8, 2012 I agree Irfan bowled well but We did not expect him to do well in last overs.... Dhoni"s decision of playing 3.5 bowlers ws baffling idea of an allrounder ws to play 4 bowlers and Irfan but this fellow played 3 bowlers and irfan which was a useless decision - india got lucky that Rohit raina virat bowled well and the Pitch helped spinners .....but these guys won't suceed at most places...... Only to play his buddy Rohit - dhoni tinkered the Balance of the team- we got Lucky thanks to Lankan team not in its form and there opener dilshan mistaking Irfan with dale steyn and getting OUT.
vishalvirsingh Posted August 8, 2012 Author Posted August 8, 2012 Sanjay and other commentators did not ask a question related to why was Rohit picked up always - even when it was QUite clear that Rohit is out of form. No strict questions were asked to DHoni ever.....why was Zak played in 5th ODI when we had won the series and Zak needs to be preserved for tests....yadav shud have been played
Lord Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 If Irfan is half a bowler,Bonda n Yadav are non-bowlers.so we played 1.5 bowlers.it seems a good strategy to me
CricLind Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Kohli has played around 80 ODIs. Sehwag has played over 200 and Gambhir has played nearly double the number that Kohli has played. And Tendulkar has played around 6-7 times more. Sustained excellence is what counts, and Kohli is right now in the middle of a purple patch. It remains to be seen as to how bowlers will respond to him. One man who has played more than 200 matches and is a better ODI batter than all these guys is MSD.
