It will atleast take the next 10 years and sustained investment to come anywhere close to that level, and then there is the big matter of winning the bid

Host a international event WELL (so needs to bid like for Asian Games) 2. Fight with opposition, human rights activists, media groups who will say India should never host Olympics Games as bigger issues out there. 3. Have a strong squad, as host we have to aim for the top 20 at least in medal count. 4. Have a leader with a vision 5. Security Issues and Pakistan. 6. Have cricket in Olympics Thus, to host Olympics Games we must fix our reputation and show the world firstly we have compatibilities to host this kind of event. And then there is no gurantee that Olympics will enhance our reputation as there are a loads of ill-wishers both in India and outside India. The last point is the main problem.
