Mukund, Dinesh Kartik, Murali Vijay, Badrinath, Balaji, Ashwin or guys like Raina, Bhajji - Not getting into particular format of the game but selections have been loaded heavily in favor of south players OR Chennai IPL guys close to Dhoni and Srini. No 2 doubts about it. Dhoni's absolute boss attitude and the clout he now enjoys has also put our cricket in danger. Crony player group-ism politics is increasing and causing a great damage to team morale. There is a lot of internal politics and feuding between the A North-South camps at the moment in the team with Dhoni clearly playing favorites with his blue eyed boys like Raina.

Mukund - Was our only centurion apart from Dravid in the whole tour of Eng and was dropped after that for Rahane without any logic for WI test series and Aus tour.If Mukund is not good enough for India because of his poor series vs WI A (which no one watched) then how is Rahane selection justified? Vijay - Selected because he was the form batsmen at that time in domestic circuit.Just scored a double century before his call up to NT.Justified his call up with two century partnerships with Sehwag in that test.Found out he was not good enough overseas and rightly dropped.Infact in his last test match in India he scored a excellent century against Aus under pressure. Badrinath - Just played two tests despite scoring truck load of runs in Ranji.Yet players like Yuvi and Raina were give long runs in the tests despite inferior record in Ranji trophy and continuous failure in tests.And Badri was dropped from the test team because he was struggling in the ODI series against WI.Yep great favouritism from SriKanth. Ashwin - Our best ODI bowler in last year or so.Had a poor series in Australia where no off spinner has ever succeed in recent memory.And who are his replacements? Dinesh Karthick - How many times was he selected for the NT during Sri Kanth's? tenure actually? Balaji - Best Indian bowler in IPL5.Deserves to be in the T20 squad.
