How many games were abandoned or forfeited? Sahara cup was good Sharjah bad? I am focussing on games played on Indians soil with two Indian umpires so there are no excuses. 16-5 is daylight beating over 20 years on home turf.

Unfortunately India didn't get the matches "abandoned" or "forfeited" by Pakis the way Pakis did in Pakistan. Maybe Indians should have done that. By the way since the advent of neutral umpires and end of "abandonment" Pakis have yet to even one odi series in pakistan against India :haha: Same happened with India earlier but unfortunately they didn't try to pull out the "abandonment" card. As examples here's one where India had to forfeit the match as Sarfraz and co. started bowling bouncer after bouncer which batsmen couldn't even reach after India had reached a winning position.... http://www.espncricinfo.com/wisdenalmanack/content/story/150297.html Pakis won the series 2-1 coz of that else we all know what would have happened :haha: Same thing happened in 1989 where the match was "abandoned" after Pakis were struggling at 13/3 against India. Maybe I can show some more links. My point being that in odis India would have won series in Pakistan as well had it not been for such umpiring, abandonment of games or forced forfeiture of games. India could have done the same thing and ensured Pakis didn't win anything either but I guess our umpres had more integrity. You will not find even one abandoned or forfeited match between Ind-Pak in India which says it all. India never took the stats as seriously as Pakis did and for Pakis they had to wn against India by hook or crook as can be seen by this policy of abandoning the matches when Pakis were strugling or India literally sending an A team against Pakis in Sahara Cup in 90s. Can you ever imagine Pakis sending a team without its best players against India? I don't think so. But eventually the only thing you can achieve by "win at all costs, even by cheating" is that you can pad the stats and those stats don't help you when it matters. If Pakis were so great in 90s how come they struggled to beat India in Sahara Cup? Or didn't even manage to win even one WC game against India? Answer is that Pakis were not that as good as their head-to-head stats say against India and we can all see that whenever the teams have to play with something on the line.

Simple: Muhammed Akram -> Bowling Coach -> Phaasht bowling -> Padosi

Then all the threads related to phaasht bowling should be merged with this one or may be with powerhouse thread becoz that was also one of the keywords. :hehe:
