Vikas Bhatt Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 ^^ This is a Welcome back thread' date=' you have another marketing gimmick thread to post at...[/quote'] I didn't intend to 'market' myself till a tosser asked me what I did for under-privileged instead of criticizing Yuvi. It didn't start with 'Hey guys see i am cool because I do this and Yuvi is crap coz he did this". Just didn't want to start a separate thread as his return back also marks this pathetic milking the cow of his absence crap. A few people I knew have succumbed to this and its real hell. One of my cousin's husband is a survivor who works for awareness of it now. His father died to it a few years earlier. One of my office colleagues, a respected fair minded manager succumbed to it and working fully with zest without letting anyone in office know what she went through. We found out only after she dies. No matter what you think or say, Yuvi has cheapend this suffering and millions who fight it.
Vikas Bhatt Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 He should have done a public service message without trying to benefit one brand of insurance company. Thats just crass and opportunistic. Is he short of money or assignments?
Vikas Bhatt Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 STFU *******...now you are behaving like a mentally handicapped nutcase :finger: Awesome insult? Did you learn it in nursery? Getting into a slanging match with you wouldn't solve anything. So I agree to disagree and leave it at that. I stick to my point that Yuvi has pissed over millions of cancer patients pain by weeping over it for money.
Vikas Bhatt Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 To hell with losers like you who cry like whiners' date=' I have showed enough respect to in earlier posts..but you don't understand...keep harping about your life struggle & blame the entire world for it...what stupidity [/quote'] I didn't post about my life's struggles at all. I made a point I thought I should. You asked me if I did anything productive on that front and I did. You turned it into a personal crass match of abuses and you call me a loser? Grow up. Khud ke andar jhankh ke dekh lo ek baar. But if it makes you feel like a man, keep abusing and displaying your crass level. be my guest! I gracefully accept defeat to an internet warrior like you. No harm done! I cannot stoop to your level to beat you at your game. You win!
Needforspeed Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Coming back to the cricket...Yuvi looked like his cricketing skills are back. Hope he quickly regains his fitness and stamina levels. Yesterday, his running between the wickets was not upto the mark. In tight games these singles and twos could make all the difference.
Crookbond Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 What about Ashwin's economical bowling of 3 overs for 34 runs...even if had given only 10 runs/over we could have won this match. U_S, Let us stop being over defensive. Obviously, NFS's assumption is looking at the game AFTER the first innings was over.

Crookbond Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Over defensive?...Ashwin's bowling sucked bigtime in today's game..he's a culprit too...so why are his fans quiet about it' date= I know he's a good bowler in ODIs...but not today's T20 game...nothing wrong to mention about that. I am not denying that fact - but probably this is not the appropriate thread. Head over to the match threads to post this , I am sure you will find many backers.
Crookbond Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012  Tell me one post from me which says anything to that effect! :dontknow:
Needforspeed Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 I have great admiration for Yuvraj for making the comeback. His stamina is something that he has no control over...having just recovered from cancer. I was just making an observation that his stamina and the resultant running between the wickets could have an impact in some close games. Yesterday's game was not so relevant and no one is blaming him for yesterday's defeat (which was a team effort ) But still all of us saw Yuvraj refusing so many second runs. Why do we have to be lovers or haterz only here? I am no admirer of Ashwin either.
SLICKR392 Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 The best part was he never looked rusty.
Number Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 :two_thumbs_up: great. there was so much attention regarding his comeback, I thought he will feel uneasy but never looked like so. once he went there in the middle, it looked that he is enjoying the attention rather than feeling the pressure. The way he stepped out to hit Vettori for that six was so amazing. :yay:
CoverDrive Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 the two practice matches will further tell us if yuvraj has regained full fitness. The 2 practice matches should be a good indicator. All of us will agree that he was struggling in the end and not 100 percent. good thing was that he was stretched fully and tested fully. No one will judge him if he finally sits out. Good thing was he looked in good touch. Bowling was also decent but not as good as last year. He has the big match temperament.
Sid Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Running between wickets still a question mark.In bowling and batting both he looked good than I thought he would. All 6 balls of 1st over were on target and while batting he was back to usual Yuvi after that edge for 4 . As others have also mentioned, fielding(rather general match fitness) remains a concern.
CoverDrive Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 actually even last year in world cup he was not in top form. He was not hitting at will and was working hard for his runs. Bowling was a big plus. Compare it to 2007 when he was in sublime touch and hitting at will. He is definitely a more mature and determined cricketer now
G_B_ Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 one thing is for sure Yuvi needs to lose some weight. he is timing the ball well and his bowling looked as good as it has been for those two overs. however in the long run i do hope he lose some weight.
mastana Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Yuvi nu khelte vekh dil garden garden ho gaya. :yay:
King Tendulkar Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Goes bak to Ranji and has just slammed a fluent ton. No doubt our idiot selctors will say he is back in form and recall him for aus tests
