Both have eerily similar stats but one is an underrated batsman in a country which has produced lots of better batsmen than him and the other is overhyped a bit because he is prolly his country's best bat. Here are some stats: Inzamam: avg 39.52 sr 74.24 Dravid: avg 39.16 sr 71.24 Inzamam edges it on both counts but overall stats don't tell the whole story. Let's dig in a little further. Inzy @ home = 56.89 avg Dravid @ home = 43.11 avg So while Dravid does better than overall stats at home, Inzy becomes a different kind of beast altogether. Now for the fun part: away stats Oz:- RD 29.46 Inzy 29.90. Both suck England:- RD 38.11 Inzy 37.50. Both are good NZ:- RD 38.86 Inzy 24.04. While RD is good in Nz, Inzy is very poor. SA:- RD 51.20 Inzy 29.93. RD is brilliant while in pacer friendly conditions Inzy falls short again. So best batsmen against phaast bowlers avg in 20s in three of the four countries that assist fast bowling. :hysterical: Also another hallmark of an ODI batsman is WC performance: Let's see RD: Never played a world cup in subcontinental conditions favorable for batting still manages a whopping 61.42 avg. 1999: 65.85 2003: 63.80 2007: 40.50 Inzy: Played 5 world cups and avgs 23.90. Guess where was the only world cup he played well in. :hysterical: 1992: 22.50 1996: 48.33 (Guess where this was held) 1999: 31.75 2003: 3.16 2007: 24.66 So I'm going to go for Dravid who is a consistent performer everywhere whereas Inzy never comes to the party in high profile tournaments or in tough batting conditions.

Another point' date=' Dravid kept wickets for 70+ matches.[/quote'] dravid was a very good odi player but he was overshadowed by tendu-ganguly in the early part of his career and yuvraj-dhoni in the later part.

dravid 53% of runs in wins' date=' inzi 63% no comparison.[/quote'] that stat doesnt have any value like how misbah averages 100++ when batting 2nd in pakistan victories.. even sachin has got only 58% runs in wins which doesnt make inzi better than sachin

dravid 53% of runs in wins' date=' inzi 63% no comparison.[/quote'] useless stat. win % is due to team not individual. suresh raina - 66% of runs in wins thus, raina>aaloo also ashwin- 71 % wkts in won matches ajmal - 53% wkts in won matches so ashwin>ajmal? heck tendulkar - 62% wkts in won matches all hail tendulkar, the spinner better than chuckmal
