Black Label and Teachers are more popular these days , but with oldtimers its still Chiavs ...some of my uncles dont drink anything but Chivas .

I think people go wrong with single malts when they try ones that are very peaty (Highland whiskies tend to be like that while speyside ones are less peaty in my opinion) which is not for everybody

We were this group of 6-7 guys working in B'lore, immediately after passing out from college, and this whiskey was official drink of our group. We had made a rule in that anybodu travelling overseas must come back with a Glenfiddich without any exception.

Holysmoke Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Nothing beats Laphroaig in SMWs. ++ It is by FAR by favorite. Macallan, Bowmore, Highland Park, and Glenmorangie are next in line. After that comes Talisker, Glenlivet, and then Glenfiddich. I actually really like "Double black" as well.
