He is the only bowler I watch who scares me with his pace, must be terrfying to face. Rapid pace at 90 mph plus with ridiculous height and very acurate. In fact I reckon he is the fastest bowler in the world at the moment and tallest, deadly combo. Like Kohli in a year or 2 will be seen as best batsman in the world, the same will be for Finn.

He certainly is quite the prospect. I think he will become the best bowler in limited overs cricket. In Test cricket, he still has a little way to go. He should certainly walk into England's team, but a little way to go before he is best in the world.

Steyn clocking mid 80s these days. yes like i said everyone will say steyn, as has track record etc. In 1 years time I am sure all will be raving about Finn. 90mph plus at ridculous height, he is going to cause mayhem in years ahead, batters will need change of regular underpants
Sam_AJ Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 If we are talking about the best upcoming fast bowlers then Finn is definitely up there and has great potential, however I firmly believe Steyn and Morne are the two best fast bowlers in the world at the moment. Among the upcoming bowlers I think the three Australian's Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and James Pattinson all have a very bright future ahead, Pakistan's Junaid Khan is another one to watch out for...

Among the upcoming bowlers I think the three Australian's Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and James Pattinson all have a very bright future ahead, Pakistan's Junaid Khan is another one to watch out for... junaid is good but no way near good enough to be included in best list i rate 1-2 young kiwi quicks much higher then him australian guys are very talented lets see weather they end up becoming johnsons or classic aussie fast bowlers
Sam_AJ Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 I have seen Junaid bowl some absolutely brilliant spells with the old ball, reversing the ball, reminding me of my childhood hero Wasim Akram (I'm an Indian, but I just love Wasim Bhai), he has got great potential Junaid and I hope he does well, consistency is a bit of a problem but he is very young, so he should become better and better with age. Good point about the Kiwi fast bowlers, Bracewell and Boult both are pretty sharp, something that has always impressed me about NZL, they continue to produce well built, muscular fast bowlers.

Nothing against you mate, at the moment I'd say it's difficult to say who will realize their potential to the fullest.

Nothing against you mate, at the moment I'd say it's difficult to say who will realize their potential to the fullest. lol u can tell by seeing how they are doing finn is on his way to top pattinson guy has good plan in tests.. and has already found his natural length in jsut 2 series cummings might now realize his potential cos of his injury issues also i thought we were discussing abt potential gr8 bowlers imho junaid is not that talented to be as good as steyn ,akram.. u compared him to akram... u can compare amir to him but not junaid jsut cos he is left arm bowler...starc will come much closer
