saneindian Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Let a younger team play the format. Play anyone else but not these guys especially Gambhir, Dhoni, Zaheer and Rohit who have been a common factor in all the three WT20 disasters.
BeautifulGame Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 100% agree.Kohli should be appointed captain. But unfortunately we all know the likes of Dhoni Sehwag and Gambhir are all too powerful and valuable for IPL to be dropped from T20 teams
Laaloo Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 They're all gonna do very well in IPL and most ICFers will be happy with their inclusion in the next IPL apart from ZAK
Crookbond Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Sorry nothing is going to pacify me from here on - all of those mentioned OUT and Kohli for captain.
rkt.india Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Even Kohli hasnt done anything to suggest he should be in our T20 team. Two good fast bowling teams and he failed in both against Aus and SA.
saneindian Posted October 2, 2012 Author Posted October 2, 2012 Balaji has finished with 9 wickets in the tournament. he will now be even playing the ODIs.
namasteji1 Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Next t20 wc is in bangladesh, the next to that is is India which is in 2016.
cowboysfan Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 I agree with the tone of the OP but rahane et al dont inspire me with confidence,no consistent big hitters are knocking on the door.
BeautifulGame Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 If the T20 world cup is in Bangla then Vijay is a decent option. Also Chand Rayadu and even Pujara could be better options
cowboysfan Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Even Kohli hasnt done anything to suggest he should be in our T20 team. Two good fast bowling teams and he failed in both against Aus and SA. kohli is not a great T20 player but he is adequate.
Number Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Still feel we were hard done by rain in Aus game which took a toll on our nrr. Changes are required though.
saneindian Posted October 2, 2012 Author Posted October 2, 2012 Even Kohli hasnt done anything to suggest he should be in our T20 team. Two good fast bowling teams and he failed in both against Aus and SA. Really? Take out his 78* and who knows we may have lost even the chase vs Pak or the Afghan match. BTW how come Australia have a better fast bowling attack than England or did you say that just because Kohli failed against them?
1983-2011 Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 make raina the captain, sack dhoni, gambhir, sehwag, rohit, bhajji, zaheer, balaji, chawla completely from t20 team
Sachin=GOD Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 I say no further Tontee Tontee for Team India from now
Magneto Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Even Kohli hasnt done anything to suggest he should be in our T20 team. Two good fast bowling teams and he failed in both against Aus and SA. I always said so :dontknow: But he is still better than others.
Magneto Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 If the T20 world cup is in Bangla then Vijay is a decent option. Also Chand Rayadu and even Pujara could be better options Depends on what form they are in two years from now.
bear23 Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 for me the following should be out of T20's OUT and never to come back: Gambhir Sehwag Piyush Chawla Balaji Zaheer Out and may be kept as backups: Rohit Sharma Harbhajan
rkt.india Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Really? Take out his 78* and who knows we may have lost even the chase vs Pak or the Afghan match. BTW how come Australia have a better fast bowling attack than England or did you say that just because Kohli failed against them? Kohli has usually struggeled against Aus fast bowlers. They bowl more aggressively. And I am saying this because what I had suspected before both the matches came true.
