US Election Debate

US politicians are pro US only. If there happens to be a congruence in national Interests, sure, they are on your side. Democrats for their entirety have been extremely Anti-India (following the Atlantic council and their ilk's line of thought), while Republicans only changed their mindsets slightly during Bush's second term (prior to that they were following the mandate set out by Kissinger and Brzezinski - who were anti Communist, so by extension anti socialist India). But going by Romney's comments regarding the need for continued relations with (and funding for) Pakis, even that may smoke and mirrors.

Read an interesting comment about Republican strategy "I wonder how it feels to know that your Party will win elections only if you can prevent citizens from actually voting?" and a really funny one I can't trust the Nate Silver analysis, sorry. I'll make my point. The only statistical analysis, the only real source of researched, balanced, non biased, non partisan information that I rely upon, to be able to make an informed prediction about the future is the concise, and highly accurate reports from the weather lady with big knockers on Fox news. There. Now you have your guide. :hysterical:

wow http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/ has Obama more than 91% likely to win. funny thing is that now he has florida leaning ( just a little) to democrats. If Obama can win florida then the election is over. Odds for florida are still 1:2 in favor of Mitt but for Presidential race Obama is 1.2:4.5 favorite.
but why is mittens wasting time in pennsylvania? The GOP has some odd calcuations going on... I thought penn. was strong obama btw, voted at 6am for Obama. I live in Virginia so every single vote counts. the polls have shown us tied for many weeks now.

Where to watch the 2012 presidential election live online: http://gigaom.com/video/election-live-stream/ Millions of people all over the U.S. will flock to the polls Tuesday to make their vote count; and later, everyone will be glued to the screen to find out how the country has voted. Pretty much all the big news organizations are streaming their live coverage online, so you don’t need to have cable — or you can watch multiple feeds at the same time — to see who is calling which state first.

pro-India? US foreign policy itself is not pro-India' date=' and they both are not going to change it. [b']Atleast the FP now prevents any large-scale war/attack from Pakistan or China. Kargil happened and Pak was told to retreat (by Clinton's admin). Both are pro-legal-immigration, so it will help Indians who want to migrate. Romney is supposed to be pro-business would turn a blind eye on H1B abuse by companies (that helps Indians to migrate more). Obama will make some stump speeches about jobs going overseas and increase in H1Bs costing Americans jobs, but will not/can't do anything about it.
