Shame selctors did not factor that in when deciding that he got triple and so should be in test side Mumbai is also a road,so Rohit,Rahane,Pujara's runs should be ignored too,no?:P

A tours etc become quite relevant. Batsmen who are good on the backfoot as well as the frontfoot, play the hook pull and cut well, have better chance of succeeding in international cricket. Pujara has displayed these qualities as of now, Rahane and Rohit to a certain extent. Jaddu lags behind on this count.

If I can draw a parallel, perhaps Motibagh Stadium Baroda will come close to how Palan ground is. In the past Neo did telecast a few matches from there and it didn't turn out to be a bad one largely because matches were played on lively pitches, as will be case at Palam. Weather at Palam could be a problem even though we have had a few bright and sunny days for the last 4-5 days, hope it lasts a little longer.

Yeah, the ESPN schedule has gone back to showing just Ranji trophy semi final instead of Services vs Mumbai as it was saying earlier. Maybe due to lack of facilities and dodgy weather at Palam, Now got to hope Saurashtra doesn't prepare a boring road.
