How do you know Mumbai is in finals?
Oh, I said so because I don't think Services can overhaul the target. They're doing decently though at present, and their best batsman is yet to come.

They're not darters, they just bowl fastish/flattish. :--D But they get decent turn and bounce.
they wont on flatter decks

They can be decent limited over options - with their speed and accuracy. Chavan is tall so will get some bounce anyway.
yeah they can be.I am talking about Tests, where we cant afford a darter

In this day and age of super bats, that is often the more effective style. Fast in the air and then sharp turn and bounce can be good.

Mumbai seems to be wrapping it up. 212/6 already. Would be good final if both Mumbai and Saurashtra are full strength for match. With beasts of domestic cricket like Jadeja and Pujara, Saurashtra would be favourite I guess.

Mumbai nearly through to the finals. Good news is no final at Wankhede as Women's WC matches are scheduled. So it could be Brabourne or DY Patil, both much better wickets than the patta at Wankhede whih have been rolled out this season. Hopefully BCCI will give due importance to the Ranji finals and release Pujara, Jaddu and Rohit before 26th when the finals begin.

if we win the next ODI then yes,but otherwise national team comes first

I don't think so. BCCI won't think so pragmatically. In either case, they won't release players to play domestic final. Would be great if they do.

Also shows you how pathetic the scheduling is. If they knew the ODI series is ending on 27th, could so easily have pushed the Rnaji finals to start on 28th or 29th to ensure full strength Ranji squads.

Jaddu ? He is in the first team and so is Rahane. Would release Rohit and Pujara if they are not playing and Call up Tiwary as a replacement or maybe Rayudu for waterboy duties.
