Tendulkar_Bhai Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 As an opening pair, you average 50 per inning and if you are giving 50 runs start in every innings, you cannot do more and if people talk about not contributing, I will suggest them to look at the stats. Looks like the criticism is getting to him!? Does he mean 50 runs average each..im sure its less outside India.
maniac Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 34,2,22,3,34,14,31,83,0,13,3,12,55,65,22,41,3,10,14,38,22,15 That is his string of scores starting back wards from the NZL series to Eng series last year 2 of those 50's were against a relatively weak WI side on Indian pitches
kabira Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 He has lost his mojo..He was once called "Wall"
BERGKAMP Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 what a paranoid little ****, let your bat do the talking son. don't whinge like a girl on fkin facebook.
vamos_rafa Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 What 50 man? Has he lost it or what?? Viru and Gauti look like jai-veeru these days.
Mariyam Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 what is fb defense?? Facebook??? yes :D GG has matured as a cricketer. Why bother bettering your performances and practicing in the nets, when you can silence their critics by trolling them on social networking sites.
kubrickian Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 I dont really think he has lost his form. You can say a batsman has lost his form for a series or two but he hasnt been scoring for 2 years. I just think he is not good enough in tests and his technique has been found out against good quality pace bowling. The real problem is he is not strong enough to accept he has flaws in his technique and work on them to get better. He is in denial mode and just keeps quoting averages and scores in the past to justify his place. With a negative mindset like that, he is bound to keep failing.

Sean Bradley Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 these kinda statements shows how much pressure he is under, and by making these statements hes puting more pressure on himself, as the above poster rightly said that hes not out of form but hes just not good enough, its high time that we start looking for options.
CricLind Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Gambhi should be called "Poke-man" or something since that's the one shot he's really good at - in fact few players in the world play that shot better than him, not even the Phantom.
GautiMaan Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Gauti:facepalm: defends in fb and pokes in cricket, rather than the other way around:banghead:
Crookbond Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Gauti:facepalm: defends in fb and pokes in cricket' date='rather than the other way around:banghead:[/quote'] Good one. :good:
