Lord Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Adelaide is flat.not everyone is Sir Aggy to win matches on those
putrevus Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Steyn has lost that little zip from his fast ball and that's all you need to become just another bowler from an all time great.
panther Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Leading up to this series I had a discussion with 2 of my uncles and cousins during a 4 hour journey to London. I was of the opinion that Styen was better then Akram Waqar and Donald. I presented all the stats and other factors like flat pitches, his record in Ind. I was laughed at and ridiculed. Now during these two test matches I am getting bombarded with texts making fun of my cricket knowledge. Hope Styen pulls himself together. The last 3 years of akram and waqars career inflated there bowling averages by 1-2 runs, it's not how you start it's how you finish. If waqar and wasim retired after the 1999 world cup they both would have finished with an average of 21-22.
MechEng Posted November 23, 2012 Author Posted November 23, 2012 Wasim was in a different class altogether! Only Marshall and Mcgrath are comparable to him.
