indiaregulator Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 I've noticed that he does this quite often. These are just in 2012. 1) First test in Sri Lanka he did naff all, the entire team fell apart due to the spin. People thought England were going to lose the second one. Then KP hits a run a ball 151 after getting out on low double figures in his previous two innings. 2) First test against SA he did nothing. He got out twice cheaply and it looked like something of the sorts was going to happen again. Then he murdered Morkel/Phillander/Steyn. Out of the blue, something from absolutely nothing. 3) First test vs India he looked like an absolute walking wicket against Ojha and any SLA. Then one innings later he pulls out one of the best innings I have ever seen, with a 188 and a SR 80 on a bunsen burner. Why the hell can't he do this every innings
Old guy Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 be happy he does it atleast one and wins matches he is gr8 player cos of this only
indiaregulator Posted November 25, 2012 Author Posted November 25, 2012 But I'm sure you can understand how frustrating it is being an England fan. One minute you see the reincarnation of Viv Richards. The next minute you see bloody Shahid Afridi.

Ultimate_Game Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 You won't get inn innings like these every match. No batsman can do so and KP is clearly the best English batsman. There shouldn't be any complaints on his performances till date.
mastana Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 queenregulator be happy that you have won this test match. :D
NareshK Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 He had nothing to lose. So he went for broke. Nobody expects England to win in India, so if they win its considered a big achievement. If they lose, nobody cares. So there's no pressure really. But still, good knock though.
King Khan Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 I agree as long as England's best, Pietersen is there on roll, ground dosnt matter they can allways expect a series win. What Indian spinners need now, to have more luck on bat-pad/pad-bat momments at next test.
nitinbwj Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 India was overly defensive while batting.Tendulkar,Kohli,Yuvraj,Dhobi were battling to put bat to ball and we though they are worldclass !
vamos_rafa Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 India was overly defensive while batting.Tendulkar' date=Kohli,Yuvraj,Dhobi were battling to put bat to ball and we though they are worldclass ! You saw the way they were bowling? They were unlike our bowlers who wanted to explore every nook and crany of the pitch. Both Panesar and Swann were bowling around the stumps and as Warne said, allowed the natural variation to get through. Only Ojha looked to be patient.
Trichromatic Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 India was overly defensive while batting.Tendulkar,Kohli,Yuvraj,Dhobi were battling to put bat to ball and we though they are worldclass ! World class, none of them are world class in current form. But 327 was a very good score for first inning. Our bowlers lost the match for us.
