I feel bad for the likes of Rahane, Rohit and Tiwary who toil in and perform at domestic level and then see an over the hill has-been who can't put bat to ball guaranteed a spot in the batting lineup

well its an opinion, but a sane one. There's no higher note other than winning a world cup to match with mumbai 2011. IF he didnt retire then obviously he's looking for something grand to finish up with which could only be winning a world cup on foreign land.
