Gambhir is the Man to Lead- why? 1. Bcos he got KKR to win IPL with a Team which was definitely the BEST TEAM. 2. He is an Opener and if he gives a good start ..well started is Half done. 3. He seems an aggressive Leader and has some traits of being a leader. 4. He does not seem to be BIASED kinda Captain as DHONI is.........Dhoni shows that he is biased and finally supports his friends and also his thought PROCESS...........which CAPTAIN on earth wud have played 4 Spinners when his only pacer was ISHANT who was not looking too good......... 5.Some BIG Mistakes which DHONI made as captain...........he did not play Varun Aroon into 11 in ENGLAND when his pacers were failing..............PLay 4 Spinners .... He always had fit enuf Varun and UMESH at one stage but he was playing Vinay kumar and Praveen Kumar and crying that INDIA does not have pacers............ He played UNADKAT ahead of Umesh YADAV...... WHY INDIA won in ahmedabad...bcos england did not play monty and Umesh got us critical breakthrough's............ Umesh and Varun did fairly well in ODI"S when they were given opportunity's......NOW Umesh is really shaping up well..even ishant is looking good. DHONI's pick are always SPINNERS .. he is kinda a spinners captain who deliver in INDIA most of the time but now foreign teams are also well prepared against spinners........... Tiwary is in form but he was never played many a times where as Rohit was repetedly played even when he was failing consistently..thats rubbish. So many rubbish decisions...

No one in the current side is good enough to lead the team. You can say Kohli, but he's too young and not consistent yet in tests. Gambhir and Sehwag are also not consistent performers.

I have a weird feeling that Gambhir is someone who may be fit for the job. For starters he will be a passionate captain and also he shines in big moments, maybe a bit of added responsibility would be good for his batting too.
