I really didn't see that coming, he has been in great touch recently and I thought he would retire after the next Ashes so this is a massive shock to me and a big blow for Australia in the upcoming Ashes series. Unbelieavble player though, considering what he has achieved in the game for someone whose debut was when he was in his 30's

Yes did well. Just shows dont write of a older player. Maybe Sir Jadeja may become the real deal when 30:giggle: To me this is IPL influence. He is not getting younger and wants to cash in while he can. Cant blame him in some ways

oh well .. didnt you answer your own question ? :giggle: :(( I have always been a huge fan of SRT but i honestly think he should have retired from at least ODIs after the WC. Its his call but by sucking in tests in home conditions, he is blocking his replacement from gaining valuable experience. Now some poor souls will be getting ****ed by styen, anderson etc in their home grounds with no experience at all as SRT would have conveniently retired by then
