There must be a reason this guy is hard to score day in day out. Should move lower down the order. Isn't good enough to be a top order bat.

The only left hander i have seen play him well is Cook (In the ODI series after Pakistan beat England 3-0 in tests in the UAE).

There must be a reason this guy is hard to score day in day out. bowled against a team who cannot score of spinners to save their lives but i do agree hafeez is a useful(nowt more) loi bowler.. i already stated b4 their are some teams who find it difficult to score against particular pattern of bowling,pakistan`s bowling falls under that category against which some teams,particularly windies struggle to score but even then windies did put up decent score barring the 1st odi

Doesn't take wickets but is tight. They need to remove Afridi and get a good third pacer instead of this Riaz/Tanvir crap. Then they'll have a really good bowling attack(ODIs). In tests their bowling is nothing special though. No test quality seamers. Hafeez is ineffective and Ajmal, though good is nowhere as devastating as he is in ODIs. It was embarrassing to watch Junaid/Irfan bowl so badly on such bowler friendly pitches.

But yes, you're right he has been economical after comeback but then he has always been economical. But then again out of 41 matches since Jan 2010, he has played 25 matches of those in Asia where the pitches help the spinners.
