Cricketics Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 What's one great OLD GOLD HINDI song which you would love to listen good remix of? My personal favorite - Dard-E-Dil, Dard-E-Jigar. I think if it's remixed nicely but someone like Shankar Mahadevan, it can turn out to be a great music.
Jersey #10 Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 khai ke paan banaras waala not a fan of remixes though
Cricketics Posted January 5, 2013 Author Posted January 5, 2013 So remix can really bring out the best of old songs. Some of the music used in 80s was crap and some of the songs can be really good if played on a better beats. That combo is deadly. Now I am talking about some good remix, not like one of those Dj Aqeel kind of tough noise beats. Just a standard remix.
Alchemist Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 khai ke paan banaras waala not a fan of remixes though It has already been remixed by DJ Aqueel.
Nova Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Don't know which song I would like to be remixed, but this was the rage in the 90s: kLjToyG8Xas Can you match this catchy beat?

Mariyam Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Jehal e muskin waqun baranzish Bahale Hijra bechara dil hai makun. Altaf Raja, spokesperson of the north Mumbai rickshaw union, had used this tune to one of his mind numbing numbers. Can't remember the words to that song now. The song that you've mentioned, in fact, is a remix in itself. It was first sung by Amir Khusrao eons ago. The beauty of that song was that it was in Persian and Brij Bhaasa. This website has the lyrics: http://suryam.blogspot.in/2007/07/zehal-e-miskeen-makun-taghaful.html You'd probably find it on wikipedia as well.
Mariyam Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 I want to see 'Chehra hai ya chaand khila hai' remixed.
Lurker Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Why mess a good song 'tics :hmmm: Here is my contribution. 2e4ea--m5tQ
