Look stats always dont give a true picture...Agree some of those games were when he was having a bad run of form...But still played a magnificent 83 while struggling....Also played only 16 ODI's ...with 15 innings when everyone were playing 20+ ODI's in the same period

irfan pathan has played more briliant innings then rohit and last time around in cb series he looked like better batsman before that in 2008 uthappa did better :icflove:

He was given more opportunities because he didn't suck :giggle: Apart from Tiwary who got dropped after 100, everyone else had some run before being tossed aside. Rohit sharma had ample opportunities to prove his worth. Apart from West Indies and ZImbabwe he could do jack against other teams.

Yeah but overshadowed by Rohit.....Kohli failed in tests....Rohit won us the ODI's and Ishant the tests....Before 4-0 against Aus....In the last 2 years,they gave us the best reasons to smile in those hard times:two_thumbs_up:
