India-KXIP fan Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Kohli to score big tomorrow and cement position as pressure-free specialist? Kohli is on a hattrick, would make it 3 out of 3 hundreds but haters are still hating :wall:
Lord Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 lol i said that for fun (tht i iwll join avkc) ask saurav i have always maintained pujara is much better batsman then kohli so why are you anti-AVKC:beee:
Magneto Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Kohli is more like Tendulkar, just with a bit more potential cause of having Punjabi fire in him. His last 2 test match innings were centuries, he has arrived :agree: He will have around 6 hundreds by the time he gets to 20 tests. So 6*10=60 hundreds from 200 tests. So he will become the GOAT. Yeah right. Pujara has 4 centuries already in 11 matches, including 2 150+ scores. He averages 69 at the moment. Kohli has 4 in 15, and averages 41 . His average will come down to 36 after 20 Tests. Forget Sachin, he is not even near Kambli presently. And the RAT will not become a GOAT, he'll remain the chindichor RAT only.
SLICKR392 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Kohli is more like Tendulkar' date= just with a bit more potential cause of having Punjabi . I stopped there.
Old guy Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 so why are you anti-AVKC:beee: simple .. let me give example if 2-3 wickes fall and he scores a 100 and we lose match or its draw (then he plays useless knocks ) now today;s match ..if t was kohli in place of pujara u guys would have said.. shyte inning even mooli vijay got ton whats the big deal ? :hysterical::hysterical: just like in last match where dhoni scored runs then its just hating the guy questioning his commitment when the guy has not done naything wrong for a still test rookie and has been our best bat by far in odis without a doubt 1 bad series and u had ur president digging up stats abt his last 10 innings :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: tbh he just does not deserves to be hated for no reason i hate when he is over hyped but then create anti kohli fans club instead of going after kohli:finger:

Last 25 is a decent sample. Stop calling him a kid and a rookie. And still, Murali Vijay averages more than him in India.

Magneto Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 hype pujara :winky: and i even agreed and was actually first one to say he throws it away... You can probably notice that we are not jumping up and down because of this knock on a favourable wicket against an ordinary Aussie lineup. In fact, we are saying we expect him to do much more and hope that he doesn't throw it away from here. On the other hand, VK fans start running around in circles the moment he scores a 100 on a patta.

Magneto Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 even with that how can u justify anti kohli club ? Again back to your :whine: and :mama: trip?
express bowling Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 he is still new to test cricket and has got atleast 1 100 in all his last 3-4 test series.. thats decent performance Kohli is averaging 58.8 in the last 9 test matches he has played starting with the Perth test match which has been a turnaround match in his test career. This includes a 116 and 75 in Australia and a total of 4 centuries. Many really good batters have had slow starts to their test careers. In case of Kohli, he failed in his first 6 tests. That is not a problem as long as he keeps performing like his last 9 tests, especially overseas.

Thanks people for reading all my valuable contributions :icflove:
Magneto Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 ah im sure our stats guru president would have missed this stat by mistake :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: As if we don't know that. 7 of those 9 Tests played at home. 2 of those Tests against NZ where everyone made merry. After that, 2 good knocks in after failing in 5 innings.

Magneto Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 so its his fault that we are playing at home? and he should be blamed for performing at home :hysterical: No. But it is his fault that he failed in his first 5 Tests. Also, his fault that he could do nothing against England and only managed to score in a meaningless Test. And we lost the series. But credit to him for minnow-bashing NZ and boosting his stats. :good: P.S. Since you didn't understand my point, it was supposed to mean that - There's no big deal scoring against ordinary lineups in favourable conditions.
