In odis you need to have some movement which he can get but he just freaking bowls at half the pitch. Also regarding bouncers ,Its best used as a suprise ball as with his height and pace agianst good batsman they will pull him everyday.

If he can get his bouncers right, it can trouble a lot of batsmen in international cricket too. He managed to trouble the Pakistani batsmen a bit also with the bouncers that he got right. 2) If he manages on work on his length, he can be economical as well. Can be a better bet on flat wickets with his yorkers and slowers.

No Indian batsman or SC batsman for that matter can flourish abroad unless they play regularly abroad. Excepting a batsmen who has played all his life in India to suddenly play swing bowling in England and South Africa comfortably is quite frankly idiotic.

I was really hoping that he played ahead of termite gambo but considering that he just finished an insane marathon knock, I'd be shocked if he made it to the playing XI for tomorrow's ODI

India's winning an international game should be the most important thing and if the management had just given him a signal that he'd be playing tomorrow, then he could very well have retired hurt or something to get some rest and be part of the odi team..... i mean making a debut in front of his home crowd would have worked well from a motivational stand point

I hope to see a solid batsman in him who can weather tough situations because there are way too many hitters in this lineup. We need a Dravidesque batsman and Pujara fits the bill. He can also score runs at a fair clip. He is not a slow scorer.
