"I am recovering well and expecting to go back to the field in two to three months time," said the young talent, who visited the ongoing practice session of his home side Jharkhand ahead of their knock-out match against Punjab here. The right-arm fast bowler, who was ruled out of the national team for Australia tour last year following recurrence of a back injury, said he is undergoing treatment at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore and expressed satisfaction over his health improvement. The 23-year-old player, who last played an international game in December against West Indies in Visakhapatnam, returned to competitive cricket during the Indian Premier League last year. He played eight games for Delhi Daredevils and picked up as many wickets before returning to the National Cricket Academy as his back pain relapsed in the middle of last year. 1983-2011 Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 feel sorry for the lad, sometimes the back problem does not leave permanently in some people and keeps reoccurring doesn't matter how much time they spend on fitness and medicine.

He will have to play at least something to know about his injury and fitness. He cannot keep himself in cotton wool. My advise for him will be to take it easy at the start and do not go all out straight away to clock high speeds once he comes back from injury like last time he did. Increase intensity and pace gradually. Sudden load and intensity is what I guesss reulted in recurrence of the injury.

I hope his problem gets diagnosed properly and he does not receive wrong treatment or medical advice. Best of luck to the lad.
