It'll help him stay in touch in conditions he'll face in December and allow youngsters to learn from him how to play in these conditions,I dont think our A coaches are that good and learning while batting with him is best way to go. County would be good too

If he does well in this series, he will definitely play SA series as well. He had said that he will retire when he doesnt enjoy the game and cant contribute. So as long as he is scoring runs, where is the question of retirement ? Indian team really needs someone with his experience in SA because all the rookies in the team will be like deer in headlights when we tour there.

Someone who is about to retire will not be clapping and jumping with joy when his younger team mates were hitting 100s and 200s. Sachin is going no where. Don't be surprised to see him play a couple of months of county cricket. I do hope that he retires from IPl and CLT20 though
