carnish Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Tendulkar is going to retire in the 4th test. :(( Should've retired way back ... he cannot embarras himself anymore. Its becoming a national shame.
Vivek.S.123 Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Australia have announced their XI David Warner Ed Cowan Phillip Hughes Shane Watson Michael Clarke ©, Matthew Wade Moises Henriques Nathan Lyon James Pattinson Peter Siddle Mitchell Starc They r betting on their strength ie the quicks. Honestly if pitch turns out to be like the ones in practice games. India should easily dispose of this line up. They're too pace heavy for a turner. The only threats for our spinners
Vivek.S.123 Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Many players nearing milestones : Sachin - 355 runs away from 16000 Test runs. Sehwag - 441 runs away from 9000 Test runs. Dhoni - 117 runs to 4000 Test runs. Kohli - 109 runs to 1000 Test runs. Pujara - 239 runs to 1000 Test runs. Pragyan Ojha - 5 wickets to 100 Test wickets. Ishant Sharma - 13 wickets to 150 Test wickets. I hope he gets there before he retires :pray::pray:
carnish Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 The only threats for our spinners Look Out for Cowan Buddy. Have heard that he is good too.
Vivek.S.123 Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Look Out for Cowan Buddy. Have heard that he is good too. Cowan will fail this series.
Vivek.S.123 Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Should've retired way back ... he cannot embarras himself anymore. Its becoming a national shame. I hope he gets to his 16000 runs before he goes
Tendulkar_Bhai Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 between Vijay and Dhawan Vijay will get it no questions asked! I hope Rahane plays in the number 6 position he can finally be Ganguly's replacement which we'v been missing. 1. Virender Sehwag 2. Vijay 3. Cheteshwar Pujara 4. Sachin Tendulkar 5. Kohli 5. Ajinkya Rahane 6. xxxx (Jadega probably :( ) 7. MS Dhoni
carnish Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 I hope he gets to his 16000 runs before he goes Still obsessed with stats, are we?? Let me give you a stat ... India 20 Wins 38 Losses against Australia.
Pagalpanti Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Good on CA to show faith in Indian security. Can't fault them though, but also at the same time wish Govt was this serious about the security for common people as well.
Clarke Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Will the specs help avoid the gunshots fired at him while in the slips ? oh yea, managed to shoo the ball away, mission accomplished
G_B_ Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Why cant India nip out the tail? so many times i have seen this. We get the established batsman out only for the tail to add serious runs. Why cant we have that killer instinct and get them out? Why does the tail always wag? are the bowling coaches of India not teaching bowlers how to bowl to the tail?
SLICKR392 Posted February 23, 2013 Author Posted February 23, 2013 Its not the coach's job but the bowler's attitude on how you bowl to them.
SLICKR392 Posted February 23, 2013 Author Posted February 23, 2013 When you can get the top order out cheaply and struggle against the tail then it doesn't have much to do with coaching unless you have the top order and tail like the Windies.
CSK Fan Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 I have seen no team doing that consistantly in recent times. Not even SA
Pagalpanti Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Tendulkar to score a ton here Ominous signs- Long stride, looking positive. Aussies are in trouble already B->
kubrickian Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Its been a long time since I saw Sachin so positive. Definitely hundred coming up, maybe even more.
