Anyway Jaddu finished the job for Dhoni. One wonder if he should have been brought on much earlier in place of Ishant.

Sporting declaration my *****, it was a dumb move. On a pitch like this you'd like to have as many runs as possible on board for 1st innings. If anything Pattinson is decent bat and Indians always fail to clean up the tail quickly. Stupid move.

The Aussie bowlers only had 3 overs to have a go at our fragile openers. Before we question his move, we have to make sure India gets to a lead tomorrow. This Indian batting can fail at times on pitches like this.

Sporting declaration is when you declare your innings to give yourself a chance to win at the same time giving a sniff to the opposition to win. This one was only to sneak in a cheap wicket at the end of the day, as batsman has nothing to win and everything to lose in such a short time.

In today's case both Ashwin and Harbhajan lacked penetration but Harbhajan created some chances while the batsmen were comfortable against Ashwin, not to forget Wade's uncomfortable issue with Harbhajan.
