gakgupta Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 I think west indies A tour is best to groom and identify right talent.....may it be batsmen or bowler. Pitches over there are bowler friendly.....and bouncy..typically their bowlers are tall which means that ball bounces even more.........more importantly they provide their best A Team unlike england or australia
JaFanatic Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 australia since the next world cup is scheduled there:pray:
maniac Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 England.....Our new crop of batsmen don't seem to have a clue against the swinging ball. Not saying much but I think they have worse technique against the swinging ball than pace and bounce.
vamos_rafa Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 1)South Africa- Where you have all of pace/bounce and seam/swing. IMO the toughest place to bat in. 2) England: Swing, swing and more swing. 3) Australia: Can be flat at times but always on the bouncier side.
gakgupta Posted January 9, 2013 Author Posted January 9, 2013 Btw which A tours are schduled for india this year?
vamos_rafa Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Btw which A tours are schduled for india this year? Read somewhere that there's an A-tour to SA.
King Tendulkar Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Read somewhere that there's an A-tour to SA. When is it? That will be good tour
vamos_rafa Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 When is it? That will be good tour I guess in June-July. Not entirely sure though.
Old guy Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 yeah there will be tour of south africa...i think its before actual tour so it will be good way to check up young players
Cevno Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 More than any particular country, i want a long tour with 4 FC matches atleast, so that each player can be evaluated properly and also gain proper experience. 1/2 matches and then 3 ODI's make that tough as 1 knock boosts average and doesn't give much experience.
Sandeep99 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 South Africa. period! Not only do you have great pitches, you also have a great breed of cricketers coming through! I'm sure even the second string South African players will give most of the National teams a run for their money... The standards are just very high! Sad that so many discarded talents fly away to 'other' countries to chase the dream of International cricket
Sandeep99 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Pakistan. Not for slaughter, for playing cricket!:giggle:
