SRT could bowl seam up,Raina could have bowled more....Dhoni is a Wicketkeeper and things like that only happen in teams like Zim,Afghanistan etc not in a top test nation
maniac Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 For all those supporting Dhoni's desicion to bowl-if Dhoni thinks he is a terrific bowler,why doesn't he play as an allrounder in tests because won't that add a great balance to the side...I mean he is sub par in tests with the bat anyways...We can maybe try a new Keeper/bat instead. Either ways that is messed up in relevance to this thread,..If Dhoni wanted an extra seam bowling option,then I am afraid he got his team selection wrong. Wicketkeeprs should bowl for fun in a meaningless match not on the most important day of a series.

Dhoni is what he is a Wicket Keeper...If he wants to fulfil the ambition of being a batting allrounder than he should practice his bowling in domestic games.Nets don't count and definetely international game is not for practice.

Raina has been in form and has played at no.3 before and Dhoni himself has done well at top. Not sure how many games till team management realises we cant win many games with 80/4 starts.
