Raghav_12 Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Musharraf flees from court premises after arrest order http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/pakistan/Musharraf-flees-from-court-premises-after-arrest-order/articleshow/19610441.cms ISLAMABAD: A Pakistan court has ordered the arrest of former president Pervez Musharraf for sacking judges when in power in 2007. The Islamabad high court refused to extend his bail in the judges' detention case. According to Dawn, Musharraf escaped from the premises of the Islamabad high court after the cancellation of his bail application by Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui. Immediately after the cancellation of bail, police tried to reach the former military ruler but he was escorted by his personal security, fleeing in his bulletproof black four-wheeler, the Dawn reported. The former army chief returned to Pakistan last month after nearly four years of self-imposed exile to contest a May 11 general election, despite the possibility of arrest on various charges and death threats from the Pakistani Taliban. Musharraf is accused over the 2007 killing of Benazir Bhutto, the 2006 death of a Baluch rebel leader and for sacking judges in 2007. Yeh banda Pakistan wapis aya kyoon tha..:haha:
ravishingravi Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Do they have an election commission :P No only commission.
ganeshran Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 I doubt he will get arrested. The SC will give him anticipatory mail and ask him to leave the country. He obviously came back after getting some sort of assurance of support from the army.
